my little pin cushion

i went and got my sewing machine out today and made myself a little pin cushion, here it is.  i have used some fabric i found at the back of a draw and the buttons from my stash.  the centre button is a big and small one layered up.

i made it from scratch as the fabric was made up of squares so i used the pattern of the fabric as a guide.
